Are you an experienced Joiner seeking a new opportunity? Our client, a reputable construction company, is looking for a skilled Joiner to join their team on a temporary basis. Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measuring and cutting materials to the required dimensions
- Assembling, fitting, and installing wooden structures, furniture, and fittings
- Utilising a wide range of hand and power tools to complete tasks effectively and efficiently
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines
- Inspecting and assessing the quality of finished products to ensure they meet the required standards
- Following all health and safety regulations on site to promote a safe working environment
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients to address any concerns or modifications to the project
Requirements:
- Some experience as a Joiner is required and a solid foundation in joinery techniques will be beneficial.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Solid knowledge of different joinery techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the project
- Punctuality and reliability to meet project deadlines
- Effective communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients
This is a temporary position offering full-time hours, allowing you to showcase your skills on a project basis. You will receive a competitive salary based on your experience.
