Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality dishes while adhering to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to minimise waste and control costs.
  • Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation before they leave the kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • An in-date Enhanced DBS is essential for this role
  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
