Macildowie are thrilled to be working exclusively with a globally renowned print business. We are looking for a talented Account Executive to join the business on a temp to perm basis. Your primary job role will be to drive additional sales revenue and margin opportunities, through use and maintenance of the company CRM, whilst building relationships and working in cohesion with Account Managers.
The Role:
- Collaborate with the Customer Account Management Team to identify opportunities and projects, working with Specialist Teams to support the sales cycle.
- Build and leverage customer relationships to generate and qualify opportunities, driving increased sales revenue with a Digital First approach.
- Maintain customer pricing and product details on the eCommerce platform to enhance the digital experience for customers.
- Develop and sustain a deep understanding of the IT Services portfolio by participating in ongoing learning activities, including some outside normal business hours. Provide expert knowledge to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Manage customer profiles and account plans, ensuring proper support and pricing levels, while serving as a central contact for pre-sale and post-sale inquiries.
- Create and maintain accurate opportunities within the CRM and update relevant applications to enable effective opportunity tracking.
- Coordinate special bid/deal registrations and price negotiations to maximize margin potential and oversee renewals of software and extended warranty support contracts to drive conversions.
- Oversee the process from opportunity to quote and quote to order by generating quotations, facilitating electronic signatures, and collating contract documentation for submission to Operations.
- Meet KPIs and financial sales targets while adhering to company policies.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in a similar Technical Sales or Operations role.
- Confident in Account Management with the ability to develop key relationships across all customer levels.
- Strong follow-up skills to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and collaborative in a team environment.
- Commercial acumen with excellent numeracy skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex topics clearly.
- Proficiency in IT, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and web-based tools.
- Problem-solving skills with logical and lateral thinking to find solutions.
- Resilience under pressure and control in challenging situations.
