Locker are leaders in design and development, manufacture, fabrication, storage and distribution of wire mesh-based products and systems for industrial, offshore, architectural and retail applications. 

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work primarily within the industrial business sector but also contribute to field sales activities of the Architectural Division.  Working with the business Directors and Managers, you will identify and maximise business from opportunities created by website enquires, commercial knowledge, new applications or projects, targeted accounts or new product developments.  Additionally you will work with the management team to develop commercial strategies involving the Locker team and our supplier partners.

We are looking for:

  • Experience of working within commercial areas of an SMT with various responsibilities
  • Experience of preparing and reviewing costings, quotations and reviewing tenders
  • Experience of working within a small but focused field sales team including meeting and negotiating with customers and suppliers.
  • Experience of working accurately and to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working with expanded metal, woven mesh, perforated metals or architectural cladding would be an advantage, though not essential.
