The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, the Marketing Manager will work closely with the Commerical Lead on a range of different projects. This role comes about due to the senior leadership team seeing the opportunity of having someone take responsibility on their brand positioning, Go-To-Market strategies, trade marketing and lead generation. The Marketing Manager have the opportunity to make the role their own, with multiple examples within the business of continued internal development and career progression.
With various channels to be leveraged across digital, social, trade events and brand building. This Marketing Manager position presents itself as a great all round marketing role, where the new team member will be able to have immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on developing and executing marketing strategies that align with groups commerical goals
- Work closely with commerical team on brand positioning and hierarchy within the group, actively repositioning where required
- Utilise external agency partners on website, ecommerce and social, ensuring that all campaign is inline with brand and business guidelines
- Be a key stakeholder involved in successfully bringing new products to market, along with driving packaging redesign to fit with guidelines
- Support commerical team on developing pricing, offers and packages to encourage continued growth with key accounts or new business
- Support broader business on new product development and how to position it within the groups portfolio
Required Experience
- Relevent leadership experience within a similar marketing role, ideally within an FMCG/Retail setting
- Relevent university qualifications - Marketing, Communications, Digital, etc
- Proven ability of working closely with a senior leadership group to achieve commercial goals
- Sound understanding on GTM, brand and product positioning
- Understanding of trade marketing
- Experienced in onboarding and managing external agency partners on key projects
