Job Overview:

A leading specialist in electrical and data building services solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrically Biased Project Manager. This role involves overseeing and delivering electrical projects across various locations in the UK. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of electrical projects from inception to completion.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure projects adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site personnel.
Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to ensure high performance and project success.
Client Liaison:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
Address client needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Financial Management:
Monitor project finances, including costs, expenditures, and budgets.
Prepare and submit regular financial reports and forecasts.
Quality and Safety:
Implement and maintain high standards of quality control and safety on all project sites.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Problem Solving:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager with an electrical bias, ideally within the building services sectors.

Skills:

Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel regularly and work on-site at various locations throughout the UK.
Valid driver's license.
Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
