Simply Recruitment are on the look for an Electrical Project Manager on a permanent position to start ASAP in Warrington but must be willing to work away.

Our client specialises in civils maintenance works carrying out various schemes on motorways / highways, airfields and ports.

Their scope of works includes:
•             Pavement Joint Repairs and Maintenance
•             Pavement Infrastructure Repair, Maintenance and Protection
•             Ground Lighting Installation and Maintenance
•             Surfacing Schemes and Concrete installation
•             Asphalt preservation

As an Electrical Project Manager, the role will form part of the Project Management team, the role will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of lighting projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and technical specifications.

The Electrical Project Manager will:
•             Lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive project success within scope, budget, and schedule constraints
•             Manage the Electrical team, including leading regular meetings and conducting staff appraisals
•             Liaise with clients to develop and propose solutions to requirements
•             Attend and estimate electrical jobs including installations, testing, remedial work and repairs
•             Prepare tender packages and producing quotations for new works, electrical testing and additional work on existing projects
•             Manage and schedule projects with sub-contractors and in-house resource
•             Act as a key point of contact for clients and providing regular progress updates
•             Ensure inhouse management systems are updated for all live projects
•             Manage electricians and subcontractors and dealing with any site queries
•             Manage and maintenance of site Quality, Health and Safety
•             Communicate and liaise across the team and clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and other group colleagues. 

Qualifications/Experience
•             Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field
•             Prince 2 qualification or equivalent level
•             Proven experience managing lighting schemes or major electrical infrastructure projects
•             Strong knowledge of lighting systems, Constant Current Regulators (CCRs), and highways, port or airfield lighting (Preferred)
•             Understanding of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems
•             SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
•             CAA, ICAO, or EASA compliance knowledge (Preferred)
•             Experience with contract management (NEC, JCT, or similar)

This role will be hybrid based between the Warrington office and home with regular site visits so a willing to travel is required.
