A Geotechnical Engineer (remediation) position has come available for a remediation focussed developer who works to deliver both consulting and contracting for major brownfield sites in the North West, offering the chance to see projects throughout its whole cycle.

You will join a small but well experienced team of engineers/consultants and have the responsibility as Geotechnical Engineer (remediation) / Project Manager to take on project delivery for all things geotechnical in the office, on site and commercially.

The type of works includes project management and technical delivery from initial phase 1 through to design, supervision and construction of remediation, earthworks and foundations ready for development.

To give you a taste of what type of works you will be doing as a Geotechnical Engineer (remediation); verification and adoption of civils, foundations, layouts, earthworks, cut and fill, specifications, QA, to then manage/supervise on site to hand over for development. More to be discussed.

Geotechnical Engineer (remediation) Specification:

  • Education background within civils or geology
  • Proven track record managing large scale sites ideally on a Remediation/Geotechnical basis.
  • Understanding of foundations, earthworks, cut and fill etc.
  • Competent at delivering technical ground engineering reports.
  • A willingness to be out on site.
