Mechanical Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilledMechanical Project Managerto lead and oversee mechanical projects in Warrington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background incommercial pipefittingand experience managing complex mechanical installations in commercial settings such as shop fitting, gyms and office refits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Oversee and support the installation and maintenance of pipefitting systems, including gas, water, heating systems, sanitary ware dry riser and boiler houses.
  • Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage resources effectively.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in commercial pipefitting such as sanitary ware, dry riser etc.
  • Proven experience in project management within the mechanical industry.
  • Knowledge of mechanical installations, including gas, HVAC, and pipe systems.
  • ACS Gas qualifications(preferred) or willingness to gain certification if required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • SMSTS/SSSTSor equivalent site safety qualifications.
  • First Aidcertification.
