What will you be involved with?

  • The candidate will ideally have experience of being a design engineer competent in using design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, PDS, MicroDrainage, Causeway etc
  • Review technical information and pull together technical reports to enable comprehensive bids
  • Produce constraints plans to enable site layouts to be effectively designed
  • Produce initial drainage strategy in consultation with external consultants
  • Manage external consultants across design stages from bid, planning to site working drawings
  • Start process of submitting information for S38, S104, S278 works for technical approvals
  • Review roads and sewers and external works designs to value engineer with a focus on buildability and best value
