We are working with Warrington Council to find a Building Surveyor on an interim basis. Building SurveyorLocation: Time Square Warrington, Hybrid 2 days a week in office but can be flexible.  Job Type: Full-time, Agency  Hourly rate: £30-£40 per hour Umbrella dependent on experienceLength of role: Initial 3 months. We are looking for a Building Surveyor with civic building maintenance experience to join our Building Services Team. The successful candidate will focus on response maintenance work, planned programmes, and capital works under the direction of the Building Services Manager. This role requires leading and directing multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver construction, improvement, and refurbishment projects from feasibility to completion.Day to Day of the role:- Lead on response maintenance work and contribute to planned programmes and capital works.  - Direct multi-disciplinary design teams for construction and refurbishment projects.  - Carry out or commission a range of surveys and provide services as per Service Level Agreements.  - Prepare specifications, tender documentation, and contract drawings using CAD packages.  - Manage all aspects of a project, including planning applications, tendering, on-site inspections, and final completion.  - Liaise with various stakeholders, including Head Teachers, Business Managers, and Building Managers, to ensure orderly and timely completion of works.  - Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and CDM Regulations.  - Prepare risk assessments and evaluate contractors’ risk assessments and method statements.  Required Skills & Qualifications:- Experience in coordinating and leading multi-disciplinary building projects.  - Advanced knowledge of current and emerging legislation and good practice in planned preventative maintenance.  - ONC/OND in Building Studies or equivalent is essential.  - HNC/HND in Building Studies or equivalent, working towards Chartered Membership of the Institute of Builders or similar.  - Awareness of current construction-related H&S legislation.
