Role:Passive Fire Surveyor
Location: Warrington
Package: up to 45,000 + car allowance, 25 days holidays, pension etc.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
As the Fire Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough fire compartmentation surveys across a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial.
- Identifying and assessing fire-stopping issues, breaches in fire barriers, and compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for remediation and ensuring all work meets current fire safety standards.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire compartmentation solutions.
- Ensuring all surveys are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and building codes
Person Specification:
- Experience in compartmentation surveying is essential for this role.
- Proven experience in fire compartmentation surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations
- Familiar with survey recording software like Bolster and Site Audit Pro
- Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems, fire doors, and fire-stopping materials.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction.
- Full UK driving license (as the role includes a company van).
