Pressure Systems Conformity Assessor

The Role:
Due to expansion in our sister company TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS), a brand new role has opened for aPressure Systems Conformity Assessor to work with the Head of Notified Body.

ThePressure Systems Conformity Assessor will involve conduct on-site inspections, compliance assessments, and preparing cost estimates and commercial quotations. You will a comprehensive understanding of relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, such as the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) and is familiar with CE and UKCA Marking of pressure vessels.

You will:
  • Conduct on-site and desk top assessments which will involve reviewing technical documentation, testing, inspections and audits, to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Liaise with the Sales team in identifying potential clients and assist in generating quotations and cost estimates for inspection and survey services.
  • Conduct Product and Process Audits as well as Technical Documentation reviews
  • Carry out surveillance audits to maintain product certification.
You will have:
  • An HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in pressure equipment or plant inspection, with a focus on PED/PSSR compliance and experience of welding procedure and welding qualifications
  • Relevant accreditation or certification to inspect pressure systems (e.g., ASME, API 510, EEMUA 231)
