We are working with Warrington Council to find a Senior Estates & Valuation Surveyor on an interim basis. Location: WarringtonJob Type: Full-timeHourly rate: £45-£50 per hour UmbrellaLength of role: Initial 3 monthsJoin the Property & Estate Management Service at the Council as a Senior Estates & Valuation Surveyor. This role provides a unique opportunity to engage in high-level estate management and valuation tasks, focusing on asset management, property acquisition, disposal, and client liaison.Day-to-day of the role:Assist in the development and implementation of the Council’s Asset Management Plan to ensure effective and efficient management of the property portfolio.Support comprehensive reviews of the Council’s land and property portfolio to meet strategic objectives and implement outcomes.Collaborate with clients and services to understand and meet their accommodation and resource needs.Partner with other services to develop plans that enhance the utilisation of property, improving efficiency and effectiveness of Council assets.Manage projects from inception to delivery, including reviewing asset use by internal and external clients.Provide professional valuation and property management services, including disposal and acquisition of land and property, statutory valuations, and management of the Council’s property portfolio.Prepare and present reports to the Cabinet and other clients as required.Act as a Service representative on various groups and participate in joint working and partnership arrangements.Attend meetings outside normal office hours as needed.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in estate management and valuation, preferably within a public sector context.Strong understanding of asset management, property acquisition, and disposal processes.Excellent client liaison and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a timely manner.Strong report writing and presentation skills.Willingness to participate in meetings outside of standard office hours.
