This is a full time role that will see you working 45 hours per week, from 8 am to 5pm, working 5 out of 7 days.

As this role sits within our Railway team, working across our Avanti sites, the location for this vacancy will cover Stafford, Stoke ,Crewe and Warrington.

What You'll Be Doing:

As aCar Park Maintenance Operativeacross ourAvanti Railwaysites, your role will be more than just managing parking spaces. You'll be a friendly face, ensuring an excellent customer experience while handling state-of-the-art car park equipment. Responsibilities include:

  • Attend sites across Avanti estate conducting daily task which include basic maintenance on skidata equipment Coder/feeder cleans, replenish ticket stock, car park counts first time fix on any issues that arise when on site , barriers and columns to be operational and clean- enforcement across estate - full training given.
  • First line response to any issues found or jobs logged via station teams any jobs unable to resolve we escalate to skidata service desk for attendance, job completed by mso open and closed via our NCP service desk.
  • Engaging with Customers: Providing top-notch customer service with a smile.
  • Traffic Control Measures: Regulating vehicle entry and exit seamlessly.
  • Regular Foot Patrols: Ensuring the safety and security of the car park.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Keeping the surroundings clean and attractive with tasks like weeding, painting, and cleaning.

Requirements:

No prior experience in customer service or security? No problem! We value enthusiasm and a positive attitude. However, the following skills will be beneficial:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Tech-savvy enough to handle our equipment.
  • Full Manual UK Driver's Licence: Essential for the role.
