Based in North West (Warrington) or London (Leytonstone) 

We are looking for an exceptional Sales and Business Development professional to join the senior management team for this specialist private training provider. As Head of Sale & Marketing  you will be responsible for creating and implementing a nationwide sales and marketing strategy, and identifying and building new business opportunities. Alongside managing a team of regional business development managers, sales and marketing teams to ensure continued sales growth inline with business targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and maintain national sales and marketing strategy (including customer engagement plans)
  • Line management of sales and marketing teams
  • Ensure achievement of KPIS and targets
  • Be willing to adopt, implement and maintain a ‘360’ approach to all business sales and marketing requirements.
  • Ensure a continued business presence through active marketing and engagement.
  • Establish and build relationships with key stakeholders (existing and new) across the sector to optimise sales potential.
  • Keep up to date with industry changes, market trends and maintain an awareness and knowledge of funding and grant assistance opportunities nationally.
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure their development.
  • Travel on a national business (including overnight stays)

Essential requirements

  • Experience in leading, managing and mentoring a sales team
  • Knowledge and understanding of funded qualifications and skills training (with experience working in this sector)
  • Willingness to travel and overnight stays
  • Proven experience of building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Budget management experience
  • Full driving license
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work
  • Strong IT skills, communication and negotiation skills
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Desirable: Constriction industry sales and market experience
