Description

The responsibilities for the Senior Bid Manager will include:

  • Manage the bid process from start to finish, coordinating with various departments to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Develop winning strategies for proposals, taking into account competitors and market trends.
  • Lead and motivate a team of bid writers, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align bid proposals with company branding and messaging.
  • Create and maintain a library of bid resources, including templates, case studies, and FAQs.
  • Monitor and report on bid performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations throughout the bid process.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate smooth bid operations.

Profile

A successful Senior Bid Manager should have:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years experience in Bid Management
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Direct line management experience is essential - this role will be responsible for 5 people
  • Experience within the property industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of bid best practices and industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
