Description
The responsibilities for the Senior Bid Manager will include:
- Manage the bid process from start to finish, coordinating with various departments to ensure consistency and quality.
- Develop winning strategies for proposals, taking into account competitors and market trends.
- Lead and motivate a team of bid writers, providing guidance and feedback.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align bid proposals with company branding and messaging.
- Create and maintain a library of bid resources, including templates, case studies, and FAQs.
- Monitor and report on bid performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations throughout the bid process.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate smooth bid operations.
Profile
A successful Senior Bid Manager should have:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years experience in Bid Management
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Direct line management experience is essential - this role will be responsible for 5 people
- Experience within the property industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of bid best practices and industry regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
