Position: Engineering Technician / CNC

Location: Warrington

Hours: 0600 - 1400hrs Mon to Fri /1400hrs - 2300 hrs Mon to Thur /1400hrs -1800hrs Fri

Salary: £35,440 p/a

To create an environment of high-performance, well organised Engineering Machinery to Safely produce, to tight tolerance, cylinders for next stages of production.

Role Objectives & accountabilities:

Safe and in-specification manufacture of cylinders initially in the Grinding & Polishing Department with potential for multiskilling.

Reading, understanding, and interpreting complex Engineering specifications and producing jobs with tight tolerances.

Working closely with the Production, Quality and Commercial teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Ownership of process specific Quality, marking, completing, and capturing QA documentation

Checking QA data points, ensuring fully compliant and correct documentation of checks are present with each part before and after processing.

Understanding and implementing specific customer requests and instructions from work tickets.

Maintenance of work area, including machinery, pedestrian, and vehicle routes within the factory.

Participate in small group activities and project work.

Skills and Experience:

Mechanical Engineering background or demonstrable understanding

Anilox manufacturers preferred.

Competent use of DTI, micrometre and working knowledge of TIR

Demonstrable experience using lathes, grinders or other such equipment.
