FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

A company specialising in the service and repair of medial equipment are seeking an experienced field service engineer to join their team in the North West of England.
This is a smaller, personable company where engineers not just a number and are valued and looked after. They have internal trainers so can provide engineers training who don't have experience on all their equipment.
Tasks and Responsibilities include:
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance, Loler inspections and other service activities on a range of medical products such as wheelchairs, baths lifts, beds, hoists, mattresses etc.
- Recommend repairs and improvements to the customer and provide quotations on prospective work such as replacement of wear and tear parts to avoid breakdowns between service visits; upgrades to improve functionality of the equipment.
- To have full knowledge of Company's products. You also keep up to date with the Care Home equipment developments and our Competitors' product and service offer.
- Responsible to maintain the Company vehicle, its stock and tools as well as your company phone, tablet/lap-top in good working order.
- Responsible for accurate time sheet reporting, correctly detailing job numbers, recording travel time, tagging and labelling equipment etc.
Experience required:
- Service and repair engineering background within a similar field
- Ideally have worked on one or more of the following pieces of medical equipment; wheelchairs, mobility scooters, hoists, beds, mattresses, bath lifts etc.
- LOLER trained preferred but not essential
Package:
- 25,000 - 30,000 depending on experience
- Company van
- No on-call
- Paid overtime (x1.5)
- Total of 28 days holiday
- Pension
- Working hours - Mon-Fri - 8.30am - 4.45pm with 45 min lunch break.
