Job Title: Contracts Manager

Salary: Circa £75,000 + Car Allowance and package

Location: Northwest

We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join the business reporting to the Construction Director, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for planning and safely delivering the required number of homes for each development. You will drive cost-effective, efficient builds that maximise profit and delight customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
  • Ensure homes are built safely and efficiently within budget
  • Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee talent mapping and succession planning to secure future team growth
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sustainability standards
  • Problem-solve and provide solutions to ensure successful project delivery

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Management role within the housebuilding industry
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Financial and commercial awareness, with a focus on customer experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of building legislation, local government regulations, and health and safety standards

Education and Qualifications:

  • Essential: Level 6 in Site Management
  • Desirable: Coaching or Mentoring Qualification (ILM Level 3 or higher)
