Tradewind are recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join one of our well-established schools in Warrington. The position is due to start ASAP at one of our Warrington client secondary schools.
Our Warrington client school is looking for a Food Technology Technician to prepare classrooms for pratical lessons to KS3 and KS4 on a Monday - Friday basis. This is a full time temporary position required to start as soon as possible and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year. The position will be paid to scale, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Food Technology lessons to students across various year groups.
- Create a stimulating and effective learning environment for all students.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress.
- Work collaboratively with the department and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
- Promote healthy eating and safe cooking practices.
- Support students' individual learning needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in teaching Food Technology.
- Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
- Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
