We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Credit Control team member for a permanent role in the Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of FMCG industry and will have experience working in a fast paced Credit Control position.

Description
- Create new customer accounts
- Monitor the Group email inbox
- Daily cash posting and allocation of client accounts
- Proactively chase overdue debt and manage payment reminders in line with the companies policy.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate repayment plans
- Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards
- Ensure compliance with the company's credit control procedures
- Handle questions and complaints about billing from customers
- Assist with the preparation of management reports and year-end audit
Profile
A successful Credit Control should have:
- Proven experience in a credit control position is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent administration and customer service skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of the FMCG industry
