We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Credit Control team member for a permanent role in the Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of FMCG industry and will have experience working in a fast paced Credit Control position.

Description

  • Create new customer accounts
  • Monitor the Group email inbox
  • Daily cash posting and allocation of client accounts
  • Proactively chase overdue debt and manage payment reminders in line with the companies policy.
  • Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate repayment plans
  • Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards
  • Ensure compliance with the company's credit control procedures
  • Handle questions and complaints about billing from customers
  • Assist with the preparation of management reports and year-end audit

Profile

A successful Credit Control should have:

  • Proven experience in a credit control position is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent administration and customer service skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of the FMCG industry
