Will be responsible for managing debtors. This role involves overseeing various operations necessary for resolving client debt repayment. This role requires strong reconciliation knowledge and experience preferably within a FMCG environment due to being very face paced. Previous experience of working within a company that handles cash would be advantageous with core sales ledger experience

Description

路 Evaluate the credit status of clients to identify debtors and credit level within policy limits

路 Conduct negotiations with debtors to reduce overdue terms

路 Opening of new debtor accounts with ongoing update and maintenance

路 Ensure daily cash and debtor targets are met

路 Contact debtors through calls, emails or letters to notify them of outstanding invoice

路 Maintain regular contact with clients and depots to ensure management of debtors

路 Conduct business operations in compliance with standard policies and regulations

路 Monitor payment history to identify changes and take necessary actions

路 Conduct daily and weekly reports to depots and log feedback

路 Oversee the forwarding of statements to depots and to keep them updated on debt collection activities

路 Fast moving foodservice sales with multiple payment channels

路 Level of authority to release overdue orders

路 Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail

路 The ability to listen and negotiate with customers

路 Excellent verbal communication

路 Persistence and determination

路 Microsoft GP Dynamics experience - Desirable

路 Ability to work well in a team

路 Strong MS Office skills

路 FMCG background - Desirable

路 Strong reconciliation experience - Essential

CICM or AAT qualified or working towards
