Credit Controller
- Annual Salary: £27k - £28k
- Location: Birchwood, Warrington
- Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid after probation with two days working from home)
Day-to-day of the role:
- Chasing arrears, agree on payment plans, and work with the Credit Manager to rectify arrears cases.
- Manage and maintain records of client administration activity, ensuring all data is uploaded onto relevant systems completely, accurately, and in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
- Complete administrative tasks as necessary during the life of the contract.
- Compile necessary paperwork for the instruction of agents prior to Credit Manager approving instruction.
- Liaise with outsourced legal service suppliers during the conduct of legal actions on our behalf.
- Escalate issues and complaints in a timely manner, in accordance with company processes and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using financial and administrative software.
