Do you have a passion for helping people find solutions?A leading Specialist Lender of Consumer Finance is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Collections Agent to join our growing Customer Care team.About the Role:In this important role, you'll play a key role in assisting customers facing payment difficulties. You'll work collaboratively with customers to develop personalized payment plans and ensure collections activities adhere to company policies and regulations.What You'll Do:
  • Proactively reach out to customers with outstanding balances.
  • Listen empathetically to customer concerns and identify the root cause of payment issues.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop realistic and sustainable payment plans.
  • Clearly communicate collection policies and procedures in a professional manner.
  • Negotiate and secure timely payments while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Process payments and update customer accounts accurately.
  • Document all customer interactions and adhere to strict data protection regulations.
Who You Are:
  • A compassionate and understanding individual with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers in challenging situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify solutions for customers.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency in relevant customer service software (a plus).
  • Experience in a collections environment or a related field (a plus).
