A market-leading manufacturing business is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will play a vital role in helping [Insert company name] achieve its objectives by providing exceptional support to our customers. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and processing customer orders, quotations, and requirements with impeccable accuracy.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via email and telephone regarding stock availability, pricing, complaints, customs numbers, weights, dimensions, and more.
  • Handling customer complaints and processing return requests, ensuring they are submitted for management approval.
  • Creating and issuing international shipping documentation and working with the Warehouse team for despatch.
  • Contributing to the development of a customer care philosophy that ensures satisfaction and fosters loyalty.
  • Utilising your experience to recommend and implement methodologies for streamlining processes and improving resolution rates.
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out according to the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Supporting CRM database maintenance, setting up new accounts and providing cover within the Customer Service team as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this role, you will need the following attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years of consistent experience in a b2b customer support role.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ability to remain organised while multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • A strong team player who is adaptable and flexible to work additional hours during peak periods.
  • Proven ability to log, resolve, and escalate client issues while meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
