  • Our client is looking for an E&I CAD Technician for a 3-month temporary position in Warrington.
  • The role requires a technical engineering background and relevant industry experience, with a focus on producing 2D design deliverables using AutoCAD.
  • Candidates should have at least ONC in a technical engineering subject or substantial experience, along with familiarity in AutoCAD 2D and preferably Revit.
  • The technician will earn a competitive salary of £35,000 per year and will be responsible for mentoring junior team members.
  • Applicants must hold a British Passport or valid Right to Work share code.

Our client is seeking an E&I CAD Technician to join them on a  3 month temp basis at their site in Warrington.

The CAD Technician will  have the responsibility to support the Engineering & Design Department through provision of Digital Engineering Services including:
•    Provision of 2D Design Deliverables
•    Project Hand over support including Operation & Maintenance Manuals
The Instrument CAD Technician will have a technical engineering background and have industry related experience.
Role Detail Description:
The CAD Technician will work closely with the Instrument Engineer and Instrument Designers to support the efficient and effective delivery of engineering & design services.
The post holder skill:
•    Produce Computer Aided Design Deliverables in Auto CAD primarily loop diagrams and block cable diagrams
•    Have excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise
•    Mentor/train junior team members
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
•    ONC in technical engineering related subject or substantial experience
•    Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D
•    Familiarity with Revit(not essential)
•    Strong experience in UK construction projects
•    Experience of M&E design best practices(Focus on Instrumentation)
•    Experience of work on projects in Hazardous Area’s(ATEX)
•    Strong understanding of design process & associated documentation
•    Project life cycle experience
•    Knowledge of data and administrative management practices and procedures
•    Ability to undertake site surveys
•    Collaborative skills and experience working in part of a multi-discipline team

Candidates must hold British Passport or valid RTW Share code.
