My client, a market leading, innovative Consultancy based in the heart of Birmingham, is searching for an Associate to manage a new Hydraulic Modelling Team based in Warrington. Hybrid working available.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are close to achieving Chartered status. You will also have vast experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk, hydrology, hydraulic modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller.

For this opportunity, applicants are also required to have the drive and determination to develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients across the area and have experience completing technical modelling, managing projects, promoting company services and mentoring team members.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to grow and lead a team of experienced Engineers based in Warrington. You will be expected to complete technical work, manage projects, mentor and train team members and develop new business opportunities.

As an Associate, you will be expected to check and amend technical work spanning flood risk assessments and complex hydraulic modelling using flood modeller and tuflow, manage/coordinate projects and update Clients with progress.

A varied workload will be available, spanning residential, commercial and industrial projects for Developers across the UK. You will be expected to complete flood risk assessments, surface water management plans and complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.

You will also be required to complete bid proposals, tenders and business development with new and existing Clients.
