We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a reputable school, recently awarded 'Good' by OFSTED. This is a fixed term position based in a Nursery class.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other staff in the team, planning, developing, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum for the children. You will also have the chance to contribute to observations and assessments of children's learning, adjusting activities according to pupil's learning styles and individual needs.

Communication skills are essential for this Early Years Teaching Assistant role, as you will need to effectively communicate with children, parents and other staff. You will also be expected to develop positive relationships with children and staff, in order to assist in their progress and attainment. A positive approach to managing children's behaviour is also required.

This is a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant position, with a requirement to work 32.5 hours per week.

Ideally you will have either a Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification.
