The Role
As a Senior Ecologist, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality ecological advice for a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects. From solar farms and onshore wind to emerging technologies, you'll be involved in shaping projects that make a tangible difference.

Key Responsibilities
路Lead ecological surveys, assessments, and mitigation strategies.
路Provide expert advice to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
路Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with legislation.
路Mentor and guide junior ecologists.
路Prepare technical reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA) and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA).
路Engage with regulators and stakeholders to ensure project success.
About You
路Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
路Full membership of CIEEM (or eligibility).
路Proven experience in consultancy, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
路Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
路Demonstrable experience in survey design, protected species work, and habitat assessments.
路Excellent project management and communication skills.
路A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
