This role involves working on electrical services response maintenance and electrical engineering elements of planned programmes and capital works. The successful candidate will lead and direct multi-disciplinary design teams from feasibility to completion, ensuring all projects adhere to internal standards and legislative requirements.Day-to-Day of the Role:-         Carry out electrical services response maintenance work and contribute to electrical engineering projects as directed.-         Lead and direct multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver capital projects effectively.-         Conduct and commission condition surveys, support services, and provide client support as per Service Level Agreements.-         Prepare specifications, tender documentation, and contract drawings for electrical engineering works using computer-aided design packages.-         Manage project phases from planning applications to on-site inspections and final completion.-         Liaise with various stakeholders including council officers, school heads, building managers, and external contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.-         Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and perform risk assessments.Required Skills & Qualifications:-         Proven experience in a similar role within a non-housing public or commercial sector, such as schools, offices, or community centres.-         Proficiency in AutoCAD, NBS, NES, and other relevant computer-based programs.-         Strong project management skills, able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.-         Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering, maintenance design, and decarbonisation practices.-         Excellent communication skills, capable of producing clear reports and effectively dealing with clients and contractors.-         Relevant qualifications such as ONC/OND, HNC/HND in Building Services, or working towards Chartered Membership of CIBSE.-         Awareness of current construction industry-related health and safety legislation.
