Our client is seeking a dedicated Regional Generator Engineer to join their team in Warrington. This role is pivotal within the water sector, focusing on the servicing and maintenance of stage V generators, MDU/AMF panels, and cables & connectors. This permanent position requires a blend of mechanical and electrical skills, ensuring the reliable operation of equipment across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain stage V generators, MDU/AMF panels and associated equipment
- Conduct major repairs and refurbishments as required
- Ensure all servicing activities are up to date both on-site and at the depot
- Travel and overnight stays as necessary, with travel time compensations
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of generators and panels
- Maintain service records and ensure all equipment is properly tagged
- Follow the lock-out tag-out process and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Assist with general workshop duties and ensure cleanliness and organisation of workspaces
Job Requirements:
- Experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel-driven products
- Knowledge of generators and associated ancillaries
- Qualifications such as C&G, CITB, NVQ are preferable (including 19th Edition)
- Valid driving licence
- Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Problem-solving skills and a flexible attitude
- Commitment to adhering to health and safety rules
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and stock control
- High quality and quantity of equipment serviced and repaired
