Sonic Summary

The position is a 12-month contract for an EC&I Engineer based in Warrington with hybrid working, requiring two days in the office each week.
The role offers a competitive rate of up to £70 per hour, which is outside of IR35 regulations.
Candidates must have a minimum of an HNC in Electrical Engineering and significant experience in designing a variety of EC&I building services, particularly in LV electrical distribution.
Experience with radiological and environmental monitoring systems, as well as electrical distribution design including HV/LV transformers and switchgear, is essential.
Strong stakeholder management skills and proficiency in design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, and Replicon are also required.

Our client is a leading engineering company who provide specialist design services to a variety of clients across the nuclear sector.

They currently require an EC&I Engineer to join their design team based in Warrington to support on a range of building service design projects.

Candidate specification:

HNC Electrical Engineering
Previous experience with the design of a broad range of EC&I Building services, particularly LV electrical distribution
Previous experience with radiological / environmental monitoring systems
Previous experience with electrical distribution including the design of new HV/LV transformers and switchgear, and HV/LV distribution
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in the use of the following design tools – Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Replicon user
