The Role: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Employment: Permanent

Location: Warrington (Mon - Fri)

Shift Pattern (possible flex): x3 rotations

  • 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday & 6am - 12pm Friday
  • 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday & 12pm to 6pm Friday
  • 10pm to 6am Monday to Thursday & 6pm to Midnight Friday

83zero are partnered with a global leadign Tool organisation who are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the Warrington site. The role of Maintenance Electrician is a specialist position within the Maintenance Department and while most of the role will be made up of Technician duties, there will be a requirement to provide an electrical maintenance service for all plant equipment, and services within the premises.

As the Electrical Maintenance Technician, your remit will include some of the following.

  • Diagnose and rectify all faults of an electrical/electronic nature, using wiring diagrams, manuals, drawings and sketches, for all plant, equipment and services.
  • Provide an electrical/electronic maintenance service for the installation of all plant equipment and factory service units.
  • Recondition and rebuild electrical and electronic components, controls and equipment.
  • To actively contribute to Continuous Improvement, A3 and A5 projects.

Who you are:

  • Recognised course of training in electrics/electronics
  • Able to use all electrical/electronic measuring, testing and calibration equipment provided
  • Be conversant with IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Competent with PLC control systems
  • Ability to interpret complex electrical/electronic wiring diagrams
