Senior Mechanical Engineer Nuclear

Security Clearance

The ability to obtain BPSS clearance is essential for continuance in the role.

SC security clearance is preferred.

Responsible for delivery of mechanical engineering documentation for area and systems.

Responsible for production and/or modification of engineering design deliverables that meet the specifications required and conform to project and client standards.

Produce collated packages of engineering deliverables that are required to carry out construction/installation works, including CAD work for drawings to be updated.

Provide engineering support to the manufacturer of procurement packages and site construction/commissioning functions.

Experience of legislation compliance such as Machineries regulations, CE marking, H&S files, EHSR, Design Change closure and O&M manuals.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

Degree qualified or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge & understanding.

Working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the Mechanical discipline.

Familiar with relevant engineering design codes and standards.

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD for drawings and MS Office applications for documents

Supply chain (Vendor) support.

Nuclear experience preferred or other highly regulated industry.

Design Tools /SoftwareCompetent with Microsoft Office software.

Familiar with software used by the Mechanical discipline including.

AutoCAD

Navisworks (for model viewing only)
