Job Description and Responsibilities of a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer
- Production of safety assurance deliverables during design, construction, operation and decommissioning.
- Supporting our client in managing nuclear safety and ensuring compliance with the Site Licence Conditions.
- Will be experienced in one or more areas of safety case development, which include the following:
- Safety Case Production (e.g. SJP, PCSR, PCmSR, PRS)
- Modification/ Design Change Submissions (LC/AC 22)
- Decommissioning
- Functional Safety Assessment
- Regulatory Interface/ Generic Design Assessment (GDA)
- Availability, Reliability and Maintainability (ARM)
- System Safety
- ALARP Assessment
- Safety & Risk Assessment
- Deterministic Safety Assessment
- Probabilistic Safety Assessment
- Nuclear Safety Legislation, Regulation and Policy
- Engineering Substantiation
- HAZOP and other identification studies
- HAZAN
- Criticality
- Nuclear Fire
