As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking an experienced Solar Thermal Engineer to carry out condition reports and servicing on solar thermal systems.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Solar Thermal Engineer to join us as a subcontractor. The role involves inspecting, assessing, and servicing solar thermal hot water systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This is a field-based role covering the Liverpool and Warrington areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct condition reports and service checks on solar thermal hot water systems.

  • Diagnose and rectify faults, ensuring systems are operating efficiently.

  • Provide professional recommendations for maintenance and repairs.

  • Ensure all work meets relevant regulations and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide expert guidance.

Requirements:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (mandatory).

  • BPEC Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems (mandatory).

  • Proven experience in solar thermal system servicing and maintenance.

  • Own van, tools, and necessary insurances.

  • Clean DBS check.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
