Events & Marketing Executive

Daresbury - Office Based

£25,000 - £30,000 Dependant on skill set and experience

Prescient Group is partnered with a well-established and respected facilities professional, and we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, passionate, Events and Marketing Executive to be a key part of the successful business development and marketing team. The ideal candidate will want to grow their own personal skills and expertise to become an experienced events and marketing professional.

The role will play an important part in supporting the Head of Marketing in developing and delivering an effective digital marketing strategy to build reputation and generate new enquiries.

Main Duties

Booking of all required rooms, refreshments, and catering

Development and circulation of promotional materials

Coordination of registration including those of external partners

Establishment of Eventbrite pages where required

Engaging with any external partners as part of the event planning and coordination process

Being a brand ambassador and ensuring all content and partner content adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice

Support with lead tracking and updating customer information on the in-house database

Input and support into other ad-hoc marketing activities and initiatives

Key Skill for The Role

Ideally 3 years’ experience of organising and supporting the delivery of events within a business environment

Strong inter-personal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels within organisations

Experience of, or interest in promoting business activities through digital marketing and social media

Experience of utilising social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and X

Experience of either managing or inputting content into websites

Creative and innovative thinker, with desire to contribute new ideas and solutions

A pro-active and an enthusiastic team player, who is a self-starter by nature and able to work independently

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong administrational skills with a high attention to detail

Strong IT skills with experience of MS Office required and experience of Adobe Creative Cloud would be desirable

Experience of email and event management platforms would be useful

Training and development opportunities will be provided to increase your knowledge and skills.
