Temporary Finance Analyst - Up to 6 month
£14.50 - £15.50 per hour

I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with one of our most longstanding clients, a specialist service organisation based in South Warrington.
Due to continued growth and a predicted busy period, they are in need of a temporary Finance Analyst to join the team for up to 6 months. This will be a fast-paced, varied role.
You will be joining a brilliant finance team - award-winning and longstanding.
Specific duties:
- Producing a variety of Revenue and cost reports that are used to produce weekly and monthly figures.
- Analysing the data to understand variances and work with the operational accountant to identify risks & opportunities to improve financial results.
- Producing accurate and detailed weekly finance reports and set of accounts.
- Use a detailed set of KPI's as business performance driver to improve the performance of the business.
- Reporting on revenue and cost trends and variances to support operations.
- Undertake nominal ledger tasks including processing of journals, nominal ledger cross-charges and period end reconciliations.
- To liaise with other departments as required ensuring the reporting deadlines of the organisation are met.
- Ensure financial controls are in place to make sure interim and year-end financial accounts are accurate, working with external auditors in a professional manner when required.
- To provide support in a number of general, non-specific areas to maintain the success of the business and on ad-hoc projects as they arise.
What we need from you:
- Studying towards AAT or other similar accounting qualification
- Advanced Excel skills
- Practical experience of financial analysis and reporting
