Chief Financial Officer

Resourcery Group is delighted to be supporting a growing Education Trust based in Warrington, dedicated to providing exceptional education opportunities to their students. This is a key leadership position within the Trust, reporting directly to the CEO. As the CFO, you will provide strong leadership in finance, IT, and HR to maximise commercial opportunities and support the growth of the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial aspects of the Trust, ensuring financial stability and sustainability
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the Trust's goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage the finance, IT, and HR teams, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Analyse financial data and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and pursue new commercial opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements:

  • A proven track record of success in a similar senior financial role, preferably within the education sector
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing financial strategies
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Passionate about education and making a positive impact on the lives of students
