Opportunity:

The Internal Finance & FX Manager plays a crucial role in the finance and corporate services team, supporting the CFO with all aspects of internal accounting and financial management, as well as overseeing the delivery of outsourced financial services to clients for the head of corporate services.

This position can be fully remote or hybrid with use of their new Warrington office available as and when desired.

Role:

Internal Finance:

  • Responsible for the supporting work of monthly management accounts and working with CFO to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met.
  • Completion of quarterly management accounts for companies subsidiaries.
  • Responsible for the statutory reporting of all group companies (management of LSPs)
  • Responsible for the tax filings of all group companies (management of LSPs)
  • VAT returns for all group companies, where applicable.
  • Management responsibility of internal finance team.
  • Responsible for the billing and credit control function, including disbursements.
  • Responsible for the management of suppliers (internal)

Business Partnering

  • Develop and launch the concept of business partnering with Heads of Departments, providing strategic financial insights to drive performance and decision-making each month to support the Heads of and Board with prep for monthly management meetings.
  • Act as a shared service for Corporate and HR Services, aligning the Payment, banking, FX and financial reporting functions with organisational goals

Payment, Banking and FX:

  • Control of company banking relationships.
  • Management of client trust accounts. Setting up, maintenance and closures
  • Responsible for the FX sales function to include the generation of new leads, conversion and management thereof.
  • Management of the FX relationships and ensuring that services meet the needs of the clients with the focus being the FX budget.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on the commissions earned through FX relationships.
  • Responsible for the payments and banking team and their outputs both internal and external.

People Management:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Manage, motivate, and support the team to foster a culture of fanatical client experience and ownership, delighting our clients and creating a positive engaging working environment.
