NEW  opportunity for a finance business partner to join a highly successful, profitable, manufacturer in Runcorn.  You will play a pivotal part within the team, adding value through production of consistent and quality monthly management reporting and short and long-term forecasting.  You will have excellent commercial acumen and be focused on business partnering to support your business area by modelling financial scenarios enabling sound business decisions.  Duties will include:

  • Working with operations staff to produce medium and long-term budgeting and forecasting for the business and uploading to SAP
  • Preparation of cost centre reporting
  • Preparation of commercial analysis including: production of monthly sales reporting, price variances and cost changes and amendments
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and be the main point of contact for finance queries
  • Year end reconciliations work

The person

  • Ideally a qualified finance professional  or a finalist looking to qualify within 12 months
  • Good communicator,  as the role supports lots of internal stakeholders including operations and sales stakeholders
  • At least 2 years management accounts experience
  • Good data skills; advanced excel essential.
  • Good commercial acumen
