My client who is an established and successful company in Warrington are seeking a Finance Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful financial analysis, advice, and management information, significantly contributing to our success.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Offer proactive financial analysis and advice on operational issues and commercial decision-making, including pricing policy, business cases, and capex requirements.
  • Support the Managing Director in developing the business profitably within the strategic framework.
  • Deliver incisive and user-friendly management information to facilitate fact-based decision-making.
  • Coordinate the division’s budget and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and commentary.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc high-quality, accurate reports on Credit Management performance.
  • Ensure robust financial control infrastructure is maintained, with high standards of financial systems and reporting.
  • Preparation and manage the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and detailed reporting and analysis of variances, including strategies to address any negative discrepancies.
  • Develop pricing policies and business processes to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage effective billing and cash collection processes, ensuring adherence to terms and consistent delivery of budgeted Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
  • Experience as a Business Partner within a senior management team, with a strong understanding of key business drivers.
  • Proven track record in sustaining profitability and service standards using key performance indicators.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of developing strategy and policy across general business issues.
  • Broad financial management experience in a business-to-business service organisation.
