Are you a talented Finance Manager looking for a new challenge? Look no further!

Our client, a leading insurance business in Warrington, is seeking a Finance Manager with a strong finance background to join their team. Ideally from Financial Service or Legal background.

Reporting to the Finance Director, in this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the finance team, producing management accounts, ensuring stakeholder reports are accurate, and much more.

To excel in this role, you will need a professional accountancy qualification or QBE, as well as solid knowledge of the insurance industry and regulatory framework. In addition, you should possess strong technical skills in financial analysis, budgeting, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

As Finance Manager your role will involve:

  • Management of a small finance team or 3
  • Producing a full set of Management Accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure stakeholder reports are correct, reviewing & authorising before submission
  • Cash flow control
  • Work with the Finance and Underwriting teams to align and reconcile risk
  • Reporting of MI to MD, and assist in the development of same to help make informed decisions
  • Process and system development to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Ensuring all lines of income are billed in a timely manner
  • Supporting other Managers with ad hoc projects
  • Build full process pack for all financial activities cross specified areas the businesses for ISO accreditation
