I am looking for an ambitious Finance Manager ready to take the next step in their career with a leading healthcare provider. The successful candidate will manage a small team and be supported with study support for further accountancy qualifications.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the work of two accounts assistants, ensuring tasks are completed with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
  • Produce management accounts and reports to reflect the company’s financial status.
  • Manage budgets and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Post journal entries to accurately track financial transactions.
  • Prepare for the audit process across three entities within the group.
  • Assist with the finance department’s daily operations, contributing to the business’s smooth running.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • AAT qualified and currently studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience (QBE).
  • A confident and accountable individual who is solutions focused.
  • Essential audit experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Previous use of Xero is desirable.
