Finance Manager
Search are a trusted recruitment agency working on behalf of a growing and well-established company based in Warrington. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to the company's continued growth and success

Key Responsibilities include:
Overseeing a small accounts team, further duties include;
* Preparing and managing the company's monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
* Overseeing the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
* Leading and managing the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors.
* Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.
* Managing and developing a small finance team, providing guidance and support.
* Reporting to senior management and providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.
* Managing VAT returns, payroll, and other statutory financial obligations.
* Supporting ad hoc financial projects and process improvements across the business.

Skills required:
* A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within a medium-sized business.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
* Experience in managing and developing a finance team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
