Client Details

Our client is a recycling business based in Warrington who requires an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will lead and assist the Finance Dept in all aspects of the accounts function, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing financial analysis. This role offers exposure to a multinational finance environment, with excellent career progression opportunities.

Description

Prepare management accounts, and oversee the month-end closing process.

Assist with Budgets & Forecasts

Management of treasury, cashflow, and working capital requirements

Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory returns (Vat,Paye,Rct,Corporation Tax)

Review and streamline finance systems & processes, identifying areas for improvement

Manage the finance team

Ensure internal controls are in place and effectively maintained.

Oversee the payroll function

Assist with annual audit

Other ad-hoc duties, as required.

Profile

Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA), with minimum 3yrs experience in a similar role or qualified by experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices

Payroll experience essential

Ability to work to strict reporting deadlines

Team player with a proactive hands-on approach

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office & ERP Systems (Sage, Dynamics 365)
