This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager who's ready to take charge in an SME setting. You'll be the go-to person for everything finance-related, steering the ship and making a real impact in a close-knit, supportive team. It's a role with plenty of rewards, not to mention a fantastic office culture.

Reporting directly to the MD, you'll step into a key leadership role, helping improve internal processes and systems. Your expertise will ensure that all financial matters are handled smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. This is a hands on role where everyone 'mucks in together'. You wont be afraid to delve into the day to day tasks that are involved in the day to day running on the fucntion.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of preparing complete management accounts
  • Bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments
  • Producing board pack information to the senior leadership team
  • Raise company client invoices
  • Support with budgets and forecasting
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and invoices
  • Set up new suppliers and CIS verifications
  • Add new employees to Sage 50 payroll and Sage HR
  • Manage company holidays through Sage HR
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and invoices
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Monthly VAT return/Monthly CIS return
  • Support the business with day-to-day finance operations
