Finance ManagerSearch are a trusted recruitment agency working on behalf of a growing and well-established company based in Warrington. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to the company's continued growth and successKey Responsibilities include:Overseeing a small accounts team, further duties include; * Preparing and managing the company's monthly management accounts and financial reporting.* Overseeing the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.* Leading and managing the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors.* Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.* Managing and developing a small finance team, providing guidance and support.* Reporting to senior management and providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.* Managing VAT returns, payroll, and other statutory financial obligations.* Supporting ad hoc financial projects and process improvements across the business.
Skills required:* A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).* Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within a medium-sized business.* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.* Experience in managing and developing a finance team.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.* Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.* A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
