We’re representing a thriving firm of accountants in Warrington tasked with finding a talented Tax Manager to join their experienced team.

This role will suit an ambitious tax accountant, qualified toACA, ACCA or CA level, ideally with CTA and with significant personal tax experience. You’ll be a confident project manager and have brilliant organisational and leadership skills to ensure the team remains focused and workflow on track to meet essential deadlines.

Job Purpose

  • Working in support of the Tax Partner and managing a team of talented tax accountants autonomously.
  • The review and completion of personal and tax returns and accounts.
  • The management of end of year returns and payroll. P11ds.
  • Overseeing and developing tax return processes for the department.
  • Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Meeting with clients to provide tax advisory services.
  • Encourage, support, and mentor junior team members, overseeing professional development and championing customer service excellence.
  • Troubleshooting and liaising with HMRC.
  • Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients.
  • Offering first class communication internally and externally both written and verbal.
